Karolin Heckemeyer

Karolin Heckemeyer is lecturer at the Pädagogische Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz in Switzerland since 2012. 2019 she was guest professor at the Institute for Sport Science at the University in Bielefeld, Germany. She holds a PhD in sociology, studied at the Simone de Beauvoir Institute at the Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. She holds a teaching degree in Sports and French. Her research focuses on sociology and gender studies, diversity and heteronormativity in sports, social justice in sport, heterogenity, diversity and intersectionality in PE. She publishes several articles and books on these issues.

Lisa Hunter

Monash University, Melbourne, Curriculum & Pedagogy, Australia

lisahunter (pronoun-it, non-identifying) is a senior lecturer at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. lisahunter’s research and teaching focuses on health education and wellbeing practices in formal and informal settings. Topics include sex/gender/sexuality as identities that are included/excluded in society, relationships and sexuality education, teacher education that pays attention to these settings and practices, and the informal spaces and practices of physical activity, the outdoors, and societal spheres. Their most recent book ‘Surfing: Sexes, Genders and Sexualities’, current work about colonialised teacher education meeting First Nations People, and Intersex Awareness explores the illusion of inclusion.

Professor Li Simin

Professor Li Simin (1970 -), Doctor of Education, Professor, master supervisor, visiting scholar of Springfield College(USA), visiting scholar of University of British Columbia(Canada). Vice president of School of Sport Science and Physical Education of Qufu Normal University, a review expert of the China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development Center(CDGDC), expert of cooperation committee of physical education major of Anhui Province, deputy leader of theoretical discipline group of Physical Education Teaching Steering Committee of Shandong Province regular undergraduate colleges and universities, part-time master tutor of Tianjin University of Sport , Member of China Sports Science Association, director of Shandong Basketball Association President of physical fitness branch of Shandong University Sports Association. The main research direction is the theory and practice of physical education and training, has published more than 80 papers in academic journals, participated in the compilation of 8 books and textbooks, presided over and completed 10 provincial and ministerial level projects, and won 7 provincial and ministerial level awards.

Rosa Diketmüller

Assistant Professor PhD, University of Vienna, Austria

Rosa Diketmüller is assistant professor at the Institute of Sport Science, Department of Education and Sports Culture at the University of Vienna, Austria and is deputy director for the study programme directorate Sport Science. She holds a teaching degree in PE (1992) and a PhD in Sport Science in the field of sport geragogy (1997). Her teaching and research focus on sports pedagogy, gender, intersectional & intercultural studies as well as in health promotion for different target groups. She serves as board member in several national and international organizations and as vice president of IAPESGW, as a consultat e.g. for the Austrian ministry of sports or as a member of the European Expert Panel on sexual violence in sport.

Marianne Meier, PhD

Basel, Switzerland
Since 2016 Marianne Meier is scientist for Gender and Development at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Gender Studies (IZFG) at the University of Bern, Switzerland. Before that she worked as university assistant at the Technical University Munich (TUM), as scientist at the „Swiss Academy for Development“, for UEFA Euro 2008 and was / is consultant for UNESCO, UNOSDP, CARE, VIDC, FARE, SCORE, UEFA, GIZ, Nike, UK Sport, ICSSPE and others and has been invited as guest lecturer to several universities all over the world. She serves as a board member of IAPESGW since 2013. She holds a PhD in Sport Science (TUM Munich, Germany) and studied at several universities in Europe and USA.
