Usha Sujit Nair is an Associate Professor at Sports Authority of India, Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education, Kerala, and Dean of the Faculty of PE, University of Kerala. Her research interests are in women, health, and exercise.
Mustika Fitri is a Lecturer of Sport Science at the Faculty of Sport and Health Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. She graduated from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia with a dissertation entitled, “Muslim Women’s Participation in High-Performance Sports: An Analysis between Malaysia and Indonesia.” Her research interests include women and sport, sport sociology, sport management, and sport pedagogy.
Emily Ortega is a Senior Lecturer and the Head of the Psychology Programme at the School of Humanities and Behavioural Sciences, Singapore University of Social Sciences. She provides sport psychology services to some of Singapore’s best athletes. Emily’s main area of research is in performance psychophysiology, focusing on heart rate variability and its links to performance in sport and well-being. She is also a member of the Singapore Psychological Society and serves on the Managing Council of the Asian South-Pacific Association of Sport Psychology.
Min completed her Bachelor’s degree at the Sport Human Science College of Beijing Sport University, majoring in youth sports and physical fitness. While completing her Master’s degree in physical education and sports studies from the Faculty of Education at the University of Macao, she was appointed as a graduate and teaching assistant. Currently, she is finishing her doctorate in Physical Education and Training at Tianjin University of Sport (TJUS). Her research interests are physical education teaching, children’s health development, physical fitness, and health. She has published four papers in China core journals, one article in a foreign journal, and one case in China Professional-degree Case Center. She has also participated in two international projects, two national programs, and five provincial subjects. She participated in writing eight monographs and one translation.
Maria Luisa M. Guinto is an Associate Professor at the Department of Sports Science and the Research Director of the College of Human Kinetics, University of the Philippines, Diliman. A founding member of the Association of Sport and Exercise Psychology of the Philippines and the first chairperson of the Sport and Exercise Psychology – Special Interest Group of the Psychological Association of the Philippines, she is currently the Treasurer of the Asian South-Pacific Association of Sport Psychology. A member of the Women in Sports Commission of the Philippine Olympic Committee, she also serves at the Executive Board of IAPESGW. Her research involves the champion mindset, women in sports, spirituality, community resilience, and psychosocial interventions in disasters.
