Forthcoming Publication: Physical Education in India

IAPESGW is pleased to highlight the forthcoming Routledge publication Physical Education in India: Tradition, Development, and Contemporary Perspectives, edited by Prof. Usha Sujit Nair, Vice President of IAPESGW.

The volume offers a comprehensive examination of the history, policy and contemporary development of physical education in India, including teacher education, government initiatives, infrastructure and diverse State perspectives. Of particular relevance to IAPESGW is its dedicated attention to girls and women in physical education, alongside wider concerns of inclusion, equity and participation.

The book forms part of the ISCPES International Studies in Sport and Physical Education Series.
